| As per someone else's request, here is an update on my life (and this may be somewhat regularly updated this fall)
I am now in London on free internet at my hotel...SCORE!!!! I am about
to go to the Tower of London today and then afterwards, Westminster
Abbey. I realize that as far as sights got there are not many I
actually want to go to. However, I do like being in London and just
soaking in its ambiance. I feel like I can fit in here. It's not too
difficult to use the Tube.
Later, I may go to Hyde park if the
rain clears...I thought I may have had a chance because it was
extremely warm and nice yesterday. Today, I need to buy an umbrella BUT
don't only pansies use umbrellas? Well call me a pansy because I
DESPISE having my hair messed up. Call me shallow but you know what?
I'm 5,000 miles away from you!
Tomorrow, I will head for Bath. I
am not looking forward to carrying all my bags. I have four of them and
knowing me, they are extremely heavy since I always think I have to
bring everything I own. Well this time, I did not bring all the clothes
I own BUT I still have two full suitcases. Oh Sarah A? When will you
learn? (I refer to myself as Sarah A on livejournal because there are
other Sarahs who read mine...HI, Sarah D!)
Anyways, I will make a post soon about receiving postcards...ACTUALLY, if you want a postcard, you can respond to this post. EMAIL A RESPONSE TO THIS POST WITH YOUR ADDRESS. ADDRESSES WILL NOT BE MADE PUBLIC.

| So I just got a job at OUGL and I did some training and worked a shift on Friday. Word in the streets is that I have to return Tuesday morning from 8-9 to get a little more training and be helped by someone named Stephanie. Stephanie C, could it be? If so that'd be awesome cuz I know you work there. | | |
| So I was talking to two of my therapists, today.
One was the one I actually pay and she made the good point that I need to start thinking of myself more in interactions with other people. It's true because when I put others before my self-preservation it can be SOOOO unhealthy.
So I admit:
I hate some things and damn't I admit it!
Nobody has the right to make me feel like less of a human being.
I'm allowed to be selfish, damn't!
I disagree with alot of things that I pretend to agree to.
I need to remember that while other people are around me sometimes, I'm there, too!
I have the right to feel certai emotions, think a certain way AND BE MYSELF.
and every once in awhile...
certain people can just fuck off!
whew...yay!
My other therapist, who is my friend made me feel better too. It's nice to hear a true voice of reason every once in awhile.
oh and one more thing...I got the skills to pay the bills! (Thanks, Beastie Boys, 1992)
